Personal Assistant to GPs (GP PA)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to become an integral part of the Huntingdon Road Surgery team.
We are looking for a highly motivated and hard-working individual who is interested in the healthcare industry, or perhaps considering a future medical career. We are a very busy surgery team with five Partner GPs, and 6 salaried GPs. The candidate would be a crucial support to all doctors at the surgery, helping in the day-to-day tasks, communication with patients and external services, as well as contributing to the overall smooth running of the surgery. The position would provide a great insight into the inner workings of a primary care service, as well as extensive practical experience in a clinical setting – something that will provide a kick-start to a career in the NHS or greatly improve a healthcare-related academic application.
A suitable candidate would be highly organised, able to work as part of a team as well independently, be inquisitive and eager to learn.
Huntingdon Road Surgery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Background checks and an enhanced DBS will be required.
All necessary training would be provided upon starting.
If you are interested in applying, please contact our Operations Manager Sarah-Jane Jarrold - email@example.com
