Dr Connan News

Dr Peter Connan will be retiring from General Practice at the end of June 2018.

Dr Connan has taken the lead in many specific areas including the Patient Group. After more than 27 years of dedication and commitment to Huntingdon Road and Girton Surgeries we understand that this will be sad news for his patients, as it has been for us all here. However, we would of course like to wish Dr Connan the very best and a most enjoyable, lengthy retirement.

Dr Adam Maguire

Dr Adam Maguire will start work at the surgery from the beginning of August and will take over the care of Dr Connan's patients. Dr Maguire has worked at the surgery in the past when he was a Registrar and hence he knows the practice well. We are looking forward to working with him again

Home Visits

Doctor's bagIf possible please try to telephone 01223 364127 before 10:30 if you require a home visit.

A doctor or nurse may 'phone you back as it could be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.

Home visits are for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability. Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the surgery.
