Dr Connan News

Dr Peter Connan will be retiring from General Practice at the end of June 2018.

Dr Connan has taken the lead in many specific areas including the Patient Group. After more than 27 years of dedication and commitment to Huntingdon Road and Girton Surgeries we understand that this will be sad news for his patients, as it has been for us all here. However, we would of course like to wish Dr Connan the very best and a most enjoyable, lengthy retirement.

We are in the process of recruiting several new members of staff, including a new Doctor – details of which we will announce as soon as we are able.

Infection Control

Infection Prevention and Control is the work an organisation does to identify potenital risks for spread of infection between patients (and between patients and staff) and to take measures to reduce that risk.  The Practice takes its responsibility to do this very seriously.

All staff take responsibility for their own role in this and all staff receive regular training in their role in Infection Prevention and Control.

The Practice Infection Prevention and Control Lead is Dr David Hayton.
